Promotes and sells FluoroSeal valves to meet sales targets and generate revenue. Maintains a high level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business. Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. Responsible to profitably grow sales for current core industries and emerging industries and markets; responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers.
Duties
Manage Texas Sales Territory
- Distribution – Manage and call on existing distribution network; develop new distribution as needed. Conduct product training as required.
- EPCs - Develop and call on EPC network to identify projects and ensure inclusion on AML’s and project specifications. Conduct product training as required.
- End User’s – Call on end users to gain AML acceptance, identify projects and potentials, and conduct product training as required.
Develop and Implement Project Strategy.
- Develop and implement a strategy by working on the different aspects of a project. Work with end users to identify projects, promote products, and gain AML acceptance as required. Work with EPC’s to identify projects, gain technical and commercial acceptance, and gain inclusion on project specifications. Work with distribution to identify projects and ensure FluoroSeal is receiving project opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of valve and automation sales experience in the Houston market. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
- Strong commercial experience: position is 85% commercial and 15% technical.
- Technical competency involving manual and automated valves.
- Excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively (in both written and verbal forms) and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently or with little guidance.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
