Testing Manager

The IT Testing Manager at SPS plays a critical role in ensuring that our bespoke and multifaceted client solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability. The role of the IT Testing Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing the testing process from beginning to end, leveraging internal testing resources and automation tools. A successful candidate will provide testing expertise related to multiple environments and applications, as well as guidance and training to others.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain testing strategies and plans to ensure solution quality.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate the best test automation tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Work closely with various internal and client teams to understand solution requirements and define test coverage.
• Oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases ensuring they are completed on time and fully documented.
• Support test script development and the optimization of those scripts.
• Provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Lead ongoing test reviews to gather insights and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the execution of periodic client business continuity tests.
• Support client driven testing projects as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software and/or process testing.
• Strong organization and documentation skills
• Experience with test automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience within Digital Image Processing or Business Process Services environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• API level test automation expertise
• Experience with data file transmission formats (XML and JSON)
• General understanding of cloud resources (AWS and/or Azure)
