- Performs complex electronic, and mechanical functions, final acceptance tests, measurements, and calibrations.
- Accuracy and timeliness are imperative.
- Must display superior skills in troubleshooting, and the ability to train other/new technicians in the required test functions, measurements, and calibrations.
- Ability to provide guidance and training to assigned personnel.
- Ability to interface with Sustaining and Reliability Engineering on failures and resolutions.
- Ability to provide prioritization for the work area
- Leads Daily Management meetings and takes appropriate action on 3C’s.
- Ensures daily communication between shifts is completed
- Ability to proficiently troubleshoot at least two system platforms with a focus on quality.
- Ability to provide guidance and training to assigned personnel.
- Knowledgeable, and flexible in all aspects of the repair test flow, while exhibiting a sense of urgency when required.
- Ability to read error logs and accurately disposition failures defined within engineering’s criteria for RTV materials.
- Ability to recognize failure trends and initiate corrective actions.
- Ability to train associate technicians in complex troubleshooting of all electronic assemblies or systems.
- Basic knowledge of Lean methodologies including QEK/Kaizen and actively participates in continuous improvement projects.
- Ability to create, implement, and monitor training processes and procedures.
- Ability to interface with peers and technical support staff.
- Ability to communicate both intra- and inter-departmentally.
- Ability to understand, and follow verbal and/ or written instructions.
- Leads Daily Management meetings and records 3C’s as required.
- Ability to communicate with bench partners between shifts
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years in a manufacturing, industrial, OR production environment
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and communications skills
- Technical certifications or associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Good teamwork skills, flexibility, and preferred familiarity with Lean tools and practices.
- Be familiar with PC and operation. Programs ie. SAP, excel, word, and navigating functions.
