Test Lab Supervisor

General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Test Lab Supervisor for it's Mt Pleasant, PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance.
• Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics.
• Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment.
• Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications.
• Maintains records of analysis and tests A Team Leader (M1) supervises para-professional employees.
• Leads a team of Test Technicians and Production Testers on a daily basis. Scheduling of work is primary in the role.
• Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team.
• Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.

Your Background:

• Bachelors degree in Business Management.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
