Job Overview:
As a Test Engineer or QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of healthcare applications through requirements gathering, test design, and execution. This position involves collaboration with project teams, business analysts, business units, and vendors to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with project teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and understand testing requirements.
- Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases.
- Test Design:
- Develop test plans and test cases for system testing, system integration, end-to-end testing, and UAT.
- Ensure test cases cover a wide range of scenarios, including positive and negative cases.
- Test Execution:
- Execute test cases and document results, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, business units, and vendors to align testing activities with project goals.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that testing activities align with quality standards and compliance requirements in the healthcare domain.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer or QA Analyst, preferably in the healthcare domain.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficient in creating comprehensive test documentation.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Xray, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
