SUMMARY:
The Test Engineer Intern will work alongside the Test Development team in product validation and migration of new products into manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct testing of electronic devices to validate functionality and performance as part of the New Product Introduction process.
- Build and test prototype PCBAs
- Automate manufacturing test procedures with integration of hardware and software solutions
- Analyze test results and prepare test reports, including design change recommendations
- High School diploma or GED
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program at an accredited college working towards a B.S. in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in programming and scripting languages (LabVIEW, C, C#, Python, database)
- Work experience in electronics assembly and soldering
- Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Lifting requirements up to 25 pounds
- Requires standing, sitting, and walking for periods of time
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Reaching required
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
