We are looking to add a Test Engineer to our team as we design, build, and test our World Class detectors at our onsite Fab. The Test Engineer will develop new infrared FPA test solutions and test stations from concept through design into production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Test System Engineering:
- Design, build, troubleshoot and maintain test stations for production testing.
- Work with mechanical, electrical and software engineering groups to design components for test stations.
- Work closely with the system engineering group to review, requirements, test conditions, test results.
- Support in debugging, tuning and characterizing new ROIC's, ASIC's and detectors.
- Creates detailed documentations such as procedures and instructions.
- Tests infrared FPAs to evaluate parts against program specifications.
- Provides test data analysis in the forms of reports and presentations to program managers, internal engineering teams and customers.
Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Advanced computer proficiency using Client Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics with three (3) years of hands-on experience in designing, building and running test systems (read out electronics, test electronics and dewars)
- Proven track record in the evaluation of infrared imaging sensor arrays and related semiconductor devices
- Experience in assembling and bringing up electronic and mechanical designs.
- Experience testing with laboratory hardware, and control software.
- Experience with data analysis using scripting software.
