We're looking for candidates with 5-7 years of experience, preferably with a BS degree in information systems, computer science, or related field. Join a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.

Overview of your day-to-day

· Ensure that software and firmware products conform to business requirements/company policies, Software Quality standards, and established procedures

· Confirm that testable systems are specified, designed and implemented

· Create the SQA project toolkit (e.g. templates for requirements traceability, test plans, cycles, cases, scripts and standardized reports, such as a root-cause bug report and a test execution progress report)

· Develop automated regression test suites using automated testing tools

· Design, documents and implements procedures and techniques that are consistent with departmental SQA Methodology for analyzing, testing, and evaluating the risk (software & business), accuracy, completeness, internal integrity/consistency, testability and overall quality of business systems and SDLC processes

· Recommend and assist in corrective actions taken at all stages of product life

· Submit and track production (maintenance) and release issues in their respective systems

What qualifies you?

We’re looking for a professional with leadership skills and a knack for solving problems. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• BS degree in information systems, computer science, or related field
• 5-7 year’s industry experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer
• Formalized review process for design phases including requirements, design, coding and unit testing

· Conducting unit testing utilizing robust testing methodologies

· Verification of requirements traceability

· Configuration management of software/firmware

• Background in defense SQA: Familiar with software safety standards in FAA (DO-178B), UK (Def Std 0056), USAF (Mil-Std-882)
• Hands on experience in automation and good understanding of automation testing strategies and tools.
• Experience reporting, regressing and reproducing software problems.
