Job Description: Territory Sales Representative
Position Overview:
The Territory Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction within a specific product line, business segment, and/or geography. This position involves cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase sales and expand the customer base. The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for both acquiring new accounts and increasing sales from existing customers. They focus on selling products and services that facilitate patient care by establishing strong relationships with supply chain teams and management.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop sales strategies:
- Formulate effective sales strategies to acquire new customer accounts, increase sales volume, and retain existing accounts.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the product line and market trends to drive sales growth.
2. Customer engagement and relationship building:
- Engage with key customers regularly to introduce products, drive sales, and foster strategic relationships.
- Demonstrate the ability to make quick decisions and exercise good judgment to ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing profitability.
3. Competitive analysis and business retention:
- Stay abreast of the competitive landscape in the specified sales region.
- Develop counter strategies to retain existing business and win new accounts.
4. Collaboration and teamwork:
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Act as a team player, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
5. Regional sales planning and pipeline development:
- Create regional sales plans and build a robust pipeline to achieve fiscal year targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on sales opportunities, customer contacts, account activities, and sales data in the CRM system.
6. Product knowledge and market awareness:
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and stay informed about current market trends.
- Utilize this knowledge to effectively position products and address customer needs.
7. Independent work and time management:
- Demonstrate self-starting qualities and work independently to achieve sales objectives.
- Utilize excellent time management skills, be accountable, and remain flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of related sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
