Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular sales calls to off-premise customers, nurturing relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze, plan, and maintain an efficient daily call pattern within your assigned territory.
- Meet assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives.
- Identify priority selling, promotional, and merchandising opportunities within the territory and each account.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, competitive activity, and payment performances for all accounts.
- Stay informed about market trends and discuss the organization's position and plans with regard to key product trends.
- Install and upkeep appropriate point-of-sale/printed materials within accounts.
- Participate in relevant trade shows, supplier-led marketing initiatives, and other sales-related activities.
Additional Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately capture order information and conduct sales order entry.
- Assist customers with inventory management responsibilities, including product availability and rotation of stock.
- Participate in sales projects, account evaluations, proposals, presentations, and other sales-related activities.
- Attend sales meetings, on-site training sessions, and industry tours to remain educated on company policy and industry developments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Valid and current driver’s license required.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and experience with Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems.
- Goal-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and effective time management abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Physical Demands:
- May require sitting and typing/keyboarding for extended periods.
- Occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping may be necessary.
- Occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs may be required.
