*Please note this is a high volume sales role where you are required to self generate your own leads by being boots on the ground door pulling businesses, cold calling and establishing local referral partnerships.

That is why we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team and help us bring our innovative solutions to merchants throughout the area.

 

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects while also recruiting, growing, and leading a smaller team of sales professionals. Using a consultative approach, you will work closely with your local Division Manager to set appointments with business owners over the phone, face-to-face, through your network, and via referral partnerships that you cultivate. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales in our target vertical markets, such as restaurants and retail.

 

During the training and ramp-up period, your Division Manager will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using Atlas, our groundbreaking tablet-based CRM platform for lead generation, sales presentations, immediate value analysis, and paperless contract processing. Additionally, you will work with Software Relationship Managers who report to you to help them achieve their sales goals through coaching, training, and accompanying them on their initial appointments. You will be free to set your own work schedule while working primarily from a home office and maximizing the upside of residuals on the business you bring in.

 

But it is not just about making sales. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will also play an important role in recruiting, hiring, and growing your sales team. There is not a base salary that accompanies this position. Compensation for this role is based on performance, and you’ll enjoy aggressive weekly commissions, monthly residuals, and portfolio ownership as you meet and exceed your targets.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prospect like a boss and deliver dynamic sales presentations that will blow potential clients minds.
  • Use our Atlas CRM on your trusty iPad or tablet to explain our value proposition to clients in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Close deals like a pro and upsell current clients on our gift marketing, SaaS Software, payroll, and other products and services.
  • Train and coach Relationship Managers to be top performers just like you.
  • Recruit new talent to join your team because you know that working with awesome people is half the fun.
  • Network like a pro, exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, and be a master of resourcefulness.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team, all while maintaining your impeccable professionalism and integrity.
  • Be a natural-born sales "hunter" who thrives on incentive-driven success.
  • Embrace cold-calling and in-person meetings like an old friend.
  • Have experience closing sales in a fast-paced environment (we are talking 5-10 sales per month).
  • Be well-versed in a performance-based compensation model and have a proven track record of pipeline development and closing sales.
  • Be able to pass a background check, have a valid drivers license, and auto insurance.
  • Bonus points if you are a member of a business or merchant association or networking group.

 

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma/GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Completion of a mandatory drug screening on or near your sixtieth (60th) day of employment

This is a work-from-home field sales leadership opportunity. Meaning candidates must live locally to travel while still cold calling anywhere in the United States.

 

Compensation - Benefits:

  • There is not a traditional base salary that accompanies this sales role.
  • It is W2! Medical, Dental, Life, & Disability benefits to keep you healthy and happy.
  • We are not messing around with compensation. A first-year professional may expect an average of $90,000 - $105,000+ if you are in the top 25% in the form of uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity. Cha-ching!
