Hill Country Outdoor Power is a Texas family-owned outdoor power equipment dealership based in southwest Austin. For over a decade, we’ve built a reputation for selling and servicing best-in-class outdoor power equipment for commercial and residential lawn and landscape maintenance applications. Our sister company, PartsTree.com, is one of the largest online sellers of genuine OEM repair parts in the United States. With a 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art warehouse in Austin dedicated exclusively to outdoor power equipment parts.
Hill Country Outdoor Power is seeking a sales professional to join our team as we expand our parts business and support services in our area. We are interested in candidates who are proactive, high-spirited, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Within this role, a successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a sales team by maintaining existing client relationships and growing new ones. Position is responsible for growing B2B, non-profit, and government sales of parts and services in your assigned geographic territory (Harris and Surrounding Counties).

RESPONSIBILITIES
-- Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, reporting efforts for territory
-- Understand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities
-- Participates in company culture that values employee growth and development
-- Works in tandem with Inside Sales and Delivery Team Members
-- Complete pre-contact planning activities that allow for effective and efficient sales contacting
-- Maintain and grow existing accounts with in assigned territory
-- Acquire new customers to maximize growth
-- Focus on strategic selling with mid and large size accounts
-- Effectively sell HCOP parts, programs, and solutions

QUALIFICATIONS
-- Successful sales history with 2+ years of experience preferred
-- Experience in landscaping, small engine, or related industry preferred
-- High school diploma required, college degree preferred
-- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products
-- Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle report (insurable)
TRAVEL DEMANDS
-- Company-provided vehicle for all company related travel (usually ½ ton truck)
-- Position requires regular travel throughout your territory. Much of the travel is local and does not require an overnight stay. Occasional overnight travel (1-2 times a year) to attend seminars or tradeshows may occur.
