Looking for a Territory Sales Manager - Open immediately - Ideal Candidate would reside in Fredericksburg or Northern VA area.
Days: Monday thru Friday (Full Time)
Compensation: Based on Experience. First year Guarantee and after first year, we will transition to Commission which is based on a percentage of Monthly Territory Gross Profit. Annual compensation opportunity exceeds $100,000.
Position Objective: To manage professionally the day-to-day activities with customers in existing territory, grow new business, introduce new items, penetrate new business within existing accounts, and manage the Company’s overall relationship with assigned accounts. This position will be responsible for the entire selling process for Independent and Chain (where applicable) Customers. Specifically, the position will consist of the following expectations:
Day-to-day Account Management – Territory Manager is responsible for calling on existing accounts to sell new items, process returns, address issues, present new ideas and opportunities.
Relationship Management – The Territory Manager is responsible for managing all facets of the customer’s Relationship with Layman Distributing.
Collections – Territory Manager is responsible for collecting monies from delinquent accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, and following up with any customer who bounces a check or fails to make an EFT payment.
Grow Business by picking up new accounts – Territory manager is responsible for cultivating, qualifying, and closing new customers within the assigned Territory.
Account Penetration – Territory Manager is responsible for selling new items, programs, contracts, and new business lines
Account Profitability – In addition to growing the business within accounts, the Territory Manager is responsible for maximizing the profitability within every account
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience - Ideal candidate would have route sales experience within Convenience Store industry
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Ability to build rapport with customers
