Pine Brook Country Club is a private facility in a beautiful suburb of Boston. This beautiful tennis facility has four indoor hard courts and two outdoor hydro har-tru courts. The club also includes a spectacular 18-hole golf course, restaurant, swimming pools and fitness facility. Pine Brook has a very complete and active tennis program of adult & junior teams, instructional programs for all ages and various adult and junior events.
The Tennis Professional should be an enthusiastic, energetic self-starter with a team mentality. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings, in addition to weekday hours. High level of playing experience is a must. The Tennis Professional works under the direction of the Director of Tennis to provide top level adult and junior lessons to the membership while maintaining a professional demeanor. In addition, the Tennis Professional will help to oversee the tennis and pickleball programs and promote all programs and racquets activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Building and growing a Tennis program with the help of the Director of tennis and Assistant Director of tennis.
- Provide private and group lessons to juniors, women, and men.
- Travel to selected away women’s team matches when specified and provide feedback to members and to Director of tennis.
- Communicate often with the Director of Tennis and Assistant Director of Tennis regarding program status and strategies for growth.
- Teach exclusively using 10 and under guidelines for juniors 4-10 years’ old.
- Administrative duties including responding to emails/calls, booking courts and lessons, doing lesson charges and light court maintenance.
- Responsible for designing and running junior clinics, as well as organize adult tournaments and events with the help of the Director.
- Execute Junior clinic evaluations.
- Responsible for racquet stringing as necessary and promotion of Racquet shop sales. As needed, assist membership in the Racquet Shop.
- Responsible for Junior Program Management and oversight.
- Responsible for execution and follow up of Junior singles league and junior matches.
- Attentive to the general upkeep and appearance of the Racquet facilities.
- Hours will extend to evenings and weekends based on directives from the Director of Tennis and/or business needs.
Required Skills:
- 3 years professional teaching experience preferred.
- Must be able to relate to all ages and levels of junior players.
- Must possess strong communication skills and be a team player, be willing to work nights and weekends, and have a very strong work ethic.
- Certified Tennis Professional, would have at least three years of experience teaching in a private club setting.
- Experience teaching women’s competitive teams and 10 and under tennis.
- A minimum current playing level of 5.0 is preferred.
Specialized Knowledge/Licenses Required:
- USPTA Elite Professional rating preferred
- Pickleball certification preferred
- Regional player ranking
Uniform Requirements:
- Pine Brook provided uniform
Physical Requirements:
- Physical conditioning and stamina required to maintain 30-35-hour teaching schedule, along with off court duties
