The Staff Tennis Professional is responsible for but not limited to conducting tennis lessons, clinics, round-robins & any other special events as needed.
- Provide tennis instruction, individual and for groups
- Schedule reservations for tennis court times, lessons & clinics
- Pro Shop Merchandise Sales
- Accurate record keeping
- Assist in other areas as needed and requested by the Director of Tennis or Recreation Manager
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attraction/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Monitor & maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- Learn IT systems including opera, resort suite and outlook. Fill in for pro shop supervisor and attendant when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years teaching experience to players of all levels
- Playing level of 4.5 or above
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing – fluency in English
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to:
