The County of Riverside seeks candidates to fill positions throughout Riverside County. A list of eligible candidates will be established to fill current and future vacancies.
The County of Riverside's Regional Park and Open-Space District has an opportunity for a Park Attendant who will be stationed at Parks Headquarters in Jurupa Valley. Under minimal supervision, the Park Attendant is responsible for greeting/registering park guests, sales/handling user fees, providing information on park services, rules, and regulations; and assisting with special events. The Park Attendant's duties will also include campsite grounds maintenance and restrooms will need to be monitored and cleaned. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for building and preparing a variety of reports and training a volunteer staff.
Ideal candidates will possess experience with grounds/maintenance upkeep, kiosk operations, cash handling, strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
The initial schedule for this position will be: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
