Job description

Bethel School District is seeking to build its pool of appropriately Licensed Teacher candidates for in-person Night School program at Kalapuya High School. These temporary positions consist of prep, outreach and teaching for 3 hours per day, Monday/Wednesday and/or Tuesday/Thursday, offered 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m Classes are held on-site at Kalapuya High School.

Minimum qualifications: Possess an Oregon Teaching License valid for assignment by start of the school yearAbility to implement Culturally Proficient skills and strategies Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal, Oregon Department of Education, and TSPC background checks Highly desirable qualifications:Bilingual or multilingual abilities, preferably Spanish/EnglishExperience working in richly diverse school communities and environmentsStrong Knowledge of Culturally Responsive Positive Behavior Interventions and SupportsStrong Knowledge of Multi-tiered Systems of Support Bilingual candidates and candidates experienced in working with bilingual students and families will receive preferential consideration.
