Summary
DTS sustains a culture of hard-working and highly-motivated employees. Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to soldering of cables, wires, and circuit boards. Ensure that every DTS product is assembled and manufactured to the highest quality standards and procedures in a timely manner
* Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment, microscope and hand tools
* General assembly prep work
* Understand and maintain a time standard consistently in order to achieve production schedule demands
* Build cable and sub-assemblies for DTS products
* Assemble DTS SLICE data recorders, ARS as well as other DTS products
* Mechanical assemblies specialize in heavy assemblies like DTS Legacy items
* Solder surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components on complex circuit boards
* Complete rework on PCBAs
* Perform ERP transactions from stock to completion
* In-process inspection of own work and inspection of previous process step(s)
Experience and Skills:
Requirements
* The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience and/or tenure in Electro-Mechanical assembly and the ability to perform a wide variety of Electronic or Electro-Mechanical assembly operations.
* Ability to read and comprehend detailed drawings, schematics, diagrams, technical orders, and work instructions to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
* Must possess above average soldering, de-soldering, and rework skills and have familiarity with IPC or military standards. Current J-STD-001 certification or experience is a plus.
* Must be proficient with working on tasks under stereo microscopes.
* Knowledge of electrical and hand tools including electric screwdrivers, heat guns, wire cutter/stripper machine, and torque driver.
* Have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment across all levels of the organization.
* Availability to work overtime hours as needed.
* Proficient with use of ERP systems and with MS Windows PCs and Microsoft® Office applications.

The pay range listed below allows for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as room for growth achieved within the role over time. Offers extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
$20.00 - $27.00 / hour DOE
