Position: Principal Consultant-Networks

Job Description:

As a Principal Consultant in Networks, you will be responsible for Level 1/2 troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of network security tasks, with the ability to escalate complex issues to Level 3.

Responsibilities:

1. Join a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment as a Network/Security Engineer.
2. Utilize and strengthen both technical and professional skillsets.
3. Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of Network Security, DMZ segmentation, and hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
4. Collaborate with telecom and equipment vendors until full resolution of issues.
5. Troubleshoot issues, gather necessary troubleshooting information from customers, and escalate to the next level if necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or IT stream OR Graduate or postgraduate in any stream with a course in Networking.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

Required Skills:

1. Working experience with different Cisco platforms: ASRs, Nexus, Catalyst.
2. Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
3. Troubleshooting Layer 2 issues. Full understanding of STP.
4. Experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting various firewall platforms such as Checkpoint, Juniper, and Fortinet.
5. Troubleshooting dot1x/EAP. Handle NAC-related issues.
6. Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, troubleshooting various application issues using Wireshark, tcpdump.
7. Knowledge of McAfee Web Gateways.
8. Add/modify/delete entries in Infoblox DNS.

Preferred/Desired Skills:

• Experience with Banking E-comm network security infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ITIL, integration across IPC (incident, Problem & Change Management).
