Temporary Chief Officer

Temporary Chief Officer needed for 50-meter M/Y, potentialto turn permanent for the right candidate. Crew of 11 on board including ChiefOfficer.  8 weeks of work to be completedin the shipyard prior to the vessel's departure to the Caribbean and Bahamasfor the winter season. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hospitalitymentality and will instill a culture of excellence and service amongst andbetween all crew members. Safety must be a top priority at all times. Must havestrong references both verbal and written.

Summer 2024: Mediterranean, Winter 2023/24: South Florida,Bahamas, and Caribbean

• Strong knowledge of all Bridge, Navigation, Safety, and Deck Procedures
  
• Proven leadership skills, leads by example, exhibits a strong work ethic
  
• Must have strong handling skills for large tenders, must be proficient in all aspects of anchoring
  
• Proven ISM and MLC compliance/knowledge
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Professional presentation
  

QualificationsRequired:

• Chief Mate 3000 Minimum (Master 500 Preferred)
  
• STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD
  
• Advanced Fire Fighting
  
• SSO
  
• Seafarers Medical Certificate
  
• Valid B1 Visa
