Nova Credit Union is currently seeking a full time Teller/Member Service Representative. We are a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by our members. Nova Credit Union is the largest Postal Credit Union in North Carolina, and has been serving its members over 80 years!
Job Description: Processes member service transactions within established guidelines. Answer telephones. Balance teller drawer. Identifies and makes referrals. Duties may also include safe deposit box, bonds and night drop.
Basic Qualifications: Must have a minimum 12 months Teller experience and possess excellent customer service skills. Credit Union experience a plus.
Salary based on experience.
Minimum Qualifications: A High School diploma/GED. At least 12 months of teller experience required. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and establish rapport when handling customer inquiries and transactions. Strong attention to detail is required. Must be experienced and comfortable using computers. Ability and desire to interact in a team environment and contribute to team efforts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
