PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Full time position to support a high volume specialty practice in Cary, North Carolina.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to greeting patients, responding to patient inquiries, patient registration, data entry of daily charges, calculating and collecting patient portion, scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, answering telephones and assisting with medical records functions such as filing, faxes, copying and mailing documents.
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in a medical setting*
- Familiarity with medical terminology**
- Computer competency**
- Highly reliable and dependable work habits**
- High level of patient courtesy and concentration**
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills**
- Ability to work in a team**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills**
- Understanding of health insurance policies and procedures

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
