Teller -- Palisade (33-37 Hrs/Week)

Grand Valley Bank is looking to fill a Teller position for our Palisade branch, located at 600 W. 8th St., Palisade, CO, 81526. This position is scheduled for approximately 33-37 hours per week, with an occasional Saturday rotation, and the flexibility to fill in as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 5:30 pm and Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Tellers are responsible for providing excellent banking service to our customers in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a basic understanding of our banking products and services, accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, and fully complying with bank policies and regulations.

Applicants for this position should possess the following:

• Prior banking / customer service / cash handling experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent math skills; 10-key a plus
• Successful time-management and organizational habits, prioritizing punctuality and attendance
• Effective conflict-resolution and reasoning skills
• Excellent communication skills

ENVIRONMENT: This job takes place in an office setting, both sitting and standing behind the Teller line, with light to moderate physical lifting requirements.
