Summary.
Operate a teller’s window by providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service. Represent the Bank in a courteous, professional manner. Be alert to customer needs and be willing to cross-sell or refer the customer to the appropriate staff.
Essential Functions.
- Verify cash, authenticate endorsements, cash checks, accept deposits, and issue receipts.
- Process credit card advances.
- Issue cashier’s checks and money orders.
- Answer customer inquiries and gives balances.
- Balance transactions at end of day and verify cash totals.
- Operate remote capture scanner and balance transactions.
- Cross-sell the Bank’s services and products.
Additional Responsibilities.
- Assist in vault or ATM maintenance, including opening, closing, and balancing procedures.
- Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
- Process night deposit bags and mail in deposits.
- Accept loan payments and safe deposit box rental payments.
- Admit customers to safe deposit boxes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Order checks for customers
- Assist customers with debit card orders and address changes
Required Education, Experience, and Skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Interpersonal skills that represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees.
- Cash handling accuracy.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Successful completion of teller training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank.
