As a Teller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing a wide variety of TFCU Services to members
- Responsible for the promotion of credit union products and services to members by various delivery methods
- Providing guidance to new and existing members in regard to the various credit union services with an emphasis on all current promotions
- Serving as the face of the credit union, greeting members and offering assistance as a needed, while following all standard operating procedures
Salary Range:
The starting pay is $19.25/hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required and one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.
- Previous Teller experience from a bank and/or credit union is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority
- Complete regulations training
- TFCU University certification required and completed
Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Teller you must possess these qualifications:
- A passion for assisting customers and working with cash
- An excellent communicator who likes working on a team
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills as well as organizational skills and attention to detail to work multiples tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations as well as knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards
- Symitar navigation, NCR/Enterprise systems, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg J, Deluxe, Home Branch Messaging, MoneyGram, Infolmage, Co-Op locator, Synergy, QuickAssist, and Reg E Monetary Instrument log
- Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment
