Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner For Glp-1 Treatment

Hi, we’re Fountain Vitality – a telemedicine company looking for Nurse Practitioners to join the medical team for our new branch focused on weight loss for women and men (i.e. GLP-1 related treatments).

Fountain launched in 2021 as a men’s health company. We are growing extremely fast with thousands of patients around the country.

Now, we are expanding to additional treatment categories, and that’s where you come in.

This is an opportunity to work directly with patients struggling with obesity. The GLP-1 medications have been shown to be effective for weight loss, when combined with a program of appropriate nutrition and exercise. The work is very gratifying, as the patients are successful if they put in the work (and most of them put in the work!)

This is a fully remote position, which means you can work from anywhere. Additionally, you will have the flexibility and lifestyle that comes with working in a startup environment.

We highly value Nurse Practitioners who are licensed in multiple states as we currently operate in approximately 25 states. Current active licensing in California (NP + furnishing license) is highly valued.

Role Overview:

We are looking for Nurse Practitioners with empathy for, and understanding of, obesity as a disease, and the physical and psychological factors that can complicate it. Prior experience prescribing GLP-1 medications is not required but can be helpful. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in either a hospital or clinic setting, strong communication skills, and the desire to collaborate with others on this fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• See patients via online video visits, using clinical protocols
• Provide feedback on documentation, systems, and operational processes so that we can efficiently and effectively keep growing
• Go above and beyond to make our patients feel like they’re in good hands

Requirements:

• Active medical license, ideally in multiple states, especially California
• Passion for providing excellent patient care
• Exceptional communication skills
• At least 1 year experience in either a hospital or clinic setting (more is preferred.)
