The Role

• Lead all aspects of the day-to-day operations of team members
• Provide development opportunities for team members by delegating task when relevant
• Keep safety as your #1 priority for each of your team members: adhering to company safety standards and all federal, state and local laws
• Install and/or repair and splice aerial cable tv (CTV) coaxial and fiber cable
• Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open wires, drops and block wires to maintain efficient operation of the customer’s facilities
• Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers
• Direct traffic in accordance with local Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines as necessary
• Work in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated
• Maintain and enforce company, federal and state rules and regulations including non-discriminatory practices, payroll and overtime guidelines, etc.
• Regional travel +/- 75% annually
• Other duties as assigned

• 10+ years of experience in aerial work, coax splicing and/or fiber splicing required
• 3+ years of direct supervisory/leadership experience a plus
• Ability to make decisions and manage day to day operations
• Excellent communication skills - able to communicate with staff and clients
• Ability to be flexible and manage changing priorities
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• Ability to read and understand mapping
• Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements
• Familiar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines
• Ability to safely climb poles with climbing equipment
• Ability to travel daily, open to a variety of schedules, participate in on-call evenings and weekends as needed, throughout all seasons
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
• Ability to lift and carry 70lbs consistently
• Ability to complete tasks with small components and wires
• Ability to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time
• Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools
• Valid driver’s license, Class A CDL a plus
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
