CCM has an immediate opening for aMaintenance Lead, at its Polyiso facility in Terrell, TX.This position supervises and delegates activities of maintenance department; maintains and repairs plant equipment.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Serves as Subject matter expert for electrical, mechanical, and basic PLC.
- Supervisory duties include coaching, work prioritization, goal setting, and performance appraisal.
- Liaison between departmental staff, line supervisors, and other plant personnel in matters relating to equipment design and functionality. Works with production, quality, technical service to improve process functioning by making justified equipment modifications and/or changes
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with both shifts
- Enforce plant safety rules and regulations – especially severe 7 as it pertains to maintenance
- Work with Carlisle engineering team to troubleshoot issues and during equipment upgrades or installations
- Conduct evaluations of technicians
- Document incidents, disciplinary action, and other forms when needed
- Participate in COS (Carlisle Operating System) activities which include SQDC boardwalks, 5S audits, Kaizen events and A3s.
- Building maintenance for inside and outside the plant.
- Assist in the lead in the training and evaluation of new team members
- Maintenance fundamentals, knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through formal education and/or work experience
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of relatedleadership, supervisory, and/or management experience requiredin a manufacturing environment
- Candidates must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications along with SAP knowledge is desire
