Description

Driver Safety System (DSS) is a technology designed to detect operator fatigue and distraction events. The system actively monitors machine operators and detects risk in real time.
Your role as a Driver Safety System (DSS) Technology Site Specialist with Caterpillar is to support the DSS Monitoring Center by serving as a liaison between customers and our 24/7/365 DSS Monitoring Center. The primary focus of this position is partner with Caterpillar dealers to support customer’s needs to promote the successful implementation and continued use of DSS. You will be responsible for owning, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

Job Duties

Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:

• Coordinate and facilitate regularly scheduled customer touch-point meetings.
  • Review Key DSS performance metrics with applicable site Safety Champion.
  • Evaluate sites Fatigue Intervention Plan (FIP), to ensure its continued accuracy.
  • Verify sites configuration files are accurate and consistent across their fleet.
• Participate in new customer/site implementations of DSS and Fatigue Risk Assessments (FRA).
• Collect voice of customer and support documentation of applicable product enhancement requests.
• Tier 1, 2 & 3 Level support managing customer Inquiries through Helpdesk Ticket application.
• Maintaining customer Fatigue Intervention Plan (FIP).
• Enter new and modify existing Fatigue Intervention Plans (FIP) in proprietary database.
• Troubleshooting Email or Phone connection issues.
• Provide performance analysis on Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, and Ad Hoc basis.
• Manage Online Performance Dashboards for Internal Stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• A college or university degree in marketing, business, finance, information systems, engineering, or equivalent experience in these areas (3 years in lieu of a degree).
• 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc)

Top Candidates will Have:

• Visualization Tool experience (Tableau, PowerBI, Google Analytics)
• API and coding experience (Azure, AWS, JSON, SQL)
• Previous experience working in mining or have a mining engineering degree.
• Excellent Time Management skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Project Management experience.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Familiarity with metric tracking and KPI targets

The location for this position is Peoria, IL

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
