Technician III, Facilities Maintenance - WLFC

As a Technician III, you will be working out of Walmart's Walton Life Fitness Center where you will be maintaining the facility and equipment. You will be responsible for conducting equipment maintenance by performing equipment inspection and collaborating with Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and equipment manufacturers to provide solutions with the least impact to operations. You will be working as a team to maintain customer satisfaction by communicating with facility managers to ensure work event needs are met, assessing, and resolving customer complaints, and responding to last-minute equipment changes or requests.
Schedule: Mon - Wednesday, Sat & Sun from 10am - 7pm with a 30-minute lunch. Subject to change.
You'll make an impact by...

• Assisting Facilities Maintenance Supervisor by repairing and installing equipment for multiple areas (for example, indoor cycling bikes, pump room equipment, steam room, weight room equipment) checking and balancing chemical levels in pools.
• Operating power equipment (for example, power lifts).
• Operating mechanical tools (for example, hand and power tools, pool motors, welding, replacing parts).
• Performing electrical repair and making alternative repair recommendations.
• Maintaining facility and equipment upkeep by vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping down the equipment in the cardio, weight and circuit training area.

• You are team-oriented
• You have strong customer service skills
• You have an outgoing personality
• You have experience working with gym equipment and conducting repairs
• You have experience doing pool work (Certified Pool Operator)
• You are mechanically inclined

Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of maintenance experience.
