Technical Writer

Summary: Seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist with experience in creating and maintaining clear and concise written instructions for manufacturing processes, particularly related to assembly of welded structures or heavy equipment.

Job Requirements:

• 2 or 4-year degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years of post-graduate experience.
• Experience in writing technical documentation, preferably related to assembly of welded structures or heavy equipment.

Job Description:

• Create and maintain written instructions for specific production resources.
• Write content in a clear and understandable manner.
• Edit, proofread, and index documentation.
• Review written material with end users to ensure accuracy.
• Control and distribute documentation properly.
• Manage revision control for documentation.
• Review manufacturers' drawings, parts lists, tooling, and other inputs for production operations.
• Collaborate with production floor operators to document sequential processes.
• Work with department functions to perform cross-functional material reviews.
• Provide coaching to ensure products meet design requirements as per documented standards.
• Adhere to documentation approval and revision control processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in current business practices.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 PER HOUR
