Experience from the Space industry is not required.
Nebula is seeking a Technical Writer lead the identification, pursuit, documentation and submission of new Patents.
The Technical Writer - Patents is responsible for drafting technical descriptions for patent applications in the field of advanced Satellite technology and payloads.
This position entails working with aerospace and computer engineering teams to gather information on their inventions, and document the IP in Patent format.
Essential Functions
- Lead the documentation and submission of Patents
- Research databases for existing patents
- Demonstrable track record of writing Patents
Engineering degree required.
Please note: this is trial to hire role, ideal for someone who wants to join a startup, take on an extra part time work: first months equity allocation, followed by transition into hourly paid role.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
