Job Description:
Technical Writing:
- Research, plan and produce technical documentation in various electronic formats for a global audience.
- Work with minimal supervision as a contributing member of a multi-disciplinary team that develops content to support laboratory instrumentation and related software.
- Strong working relationships with Informatics, Projects, Product Marketing, Service, and the global experience team.
- Experience working with Writing Style Guides set by client and industry standard manuals.
- Very good editing and proof-reading skills.
Process Skills:
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies, such as Agile.
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA Understanding of WCAG and Accessibility principles in context of technical writing (e.g. formatting, compliance rules)
Tools and Technology:
- Madcap Flare
- SDL Tridion Docs
- X-MetaL
- Adobe FrameMaker
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro DC
- XML DITA
Behavioral:
- Quick learner to adapt to new domain, technology, tools, and processes.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete assignments within stipulated deadlines.
Qualification:
- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience as a Technical Writer.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English or language related fields/ Technical writing/ science/ technology.
- Certification(s) in Technical Writing. (Preferred)

Pay: $29.68 - $135.74 per hour
