Technical Writer - Copy Editor

*This is a hybrid role based in our Needham, MA headquarters*

OVERVIEW:

As Technical Writer/Copy Editor, you'll join a group of talented Tech Writers/Copy Editors for SharkNinja's in-house Creative team. You'll immerse yourself in the brand, and establish close relationships with Creative Copywriters, Designers, and Production Artists as you work together to deliver copy that's clear, accurate, effective, consistent, and correct.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:

• Write technical collateral for newly developing products

• Review print and digital collateral (including instruction books, recipe guides, packaging, displays, emails, social posts, and banner ads) for spelling, grammar, consistency, clarity, style, and brand voice

• Work with members of the Creative team and liaise with Product, Brand, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to implement rapid copy changes

• Offer copy suggestions when necessary

ATTRIBUTES , SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (English, Communication, Journalism, or related field)

• 3+ years of related editorial work experience-internal or external agency experience preferred

• Sense of humor and ability to build relationships with a wide range of personalities

• Eagle-eyed copyediting skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to roll with rapid project changes, work with limited direction, and deliver against tight deadlineswhile remaining calm, cool, and collected
