At Zelis, we're looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team as a specialist within our Price Optimization, Claims Editing organization. As a Technical Writer, your main focus will be on creating clear and concise documentation to explain the intricacies of our Claims Editing processes.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a library of documentation and workflows supporting our Claims Editing product. Additionally, you'll assist in refining procedures, processes, and workflows to ensure smooth operations for the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, outline, write and edit new and existing technical documentation, working closely with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand documentation requirements
- Collaborate with the product teams to write documentation to support the Claims Editing product and Edit Library including One Pagers, Edit Guides, etc
- Support writing internal processes, including technical process/procedure docs, workflows
- Organize existing documentation library/repository
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to obtain feedback and incorporate changes into the documentation
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing documentation to reflect changes in Claims Editing workflows and technologies
- Update existing documentation to align with corporate / branding standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, technical writing or related discipline OR 5+ years of related experience as a Technical Writer
- 2+ years experience as a Technical Writer
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics, including information technology concepts
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
- Understanding of the life of a claim/claim processes (e.g., Claims Editing, adjudication, etc)
- Exceptional collaboration skills within departments and across the organization
- Experience using Jira and/or Confluence, OneDrive, PowerPoint and Visio
