Precise Systems is seeking a Technical Writerto provide support to our NSWC Crane customer. Developing high-quality documentation with minimal guidance that is coherent and easy to follow, as well as complies with corresponding standards, style guide, and/or directive and meets the customers and end user’s needs.
Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and format various products produced within USMC Branch.
- Conduct thorough reviews of documents, reports, and materials, ensuring adherence to updated reporting formats.
- Edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and context for accurate document editing.
- Transform complex technical content into clear, concise, and reader-friendly documents.
- Enhance the overall readability and flow of documents while preserving the integrity of technical information.
- Perform final proofreading to ensure edited documents are error-free, typo-free, and consistent in formatting.
- Verify the accuracy and proper documentation of all relevant data, references, and citations.
Desired Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Desired Experience:
- Four (4) or more years of experience editing content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
