Sales Support Specialist

1st Shift

Position Summary:
This individual must possess solid written and verbal communication skills, understand, and disseminate technical product information, be able to function in a fast-paced environment and have a genuine commitment to helping others. This position requires extensive hands-on collaboration with our Customer Service Team, RMA Tech Support, Logistics, Product Line, Marketing, Quality, SIG Ballistic Turret Lead and Finance, to satisfy customer needs. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and perform under pressure while maintaining a high degree of credibility and integrity.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Provide technical assistance and issue resolution on SIG SAUER Electro-Optic products while creating a win/win scenario for both the customer and SIG SAUER
*Help facilitate the Oregon Depot Repair Scrap Process
*Execute on RWOR (Replace without Return) type warranties and assist in OOW (Out of Warranty) communications
*Support process of inspection, disposition, data recording, receiving, and shipping on product returns as needed
*Complete non-inventory parts requests. Answer incoming internal and external e-mails on product inquires and to process warranty claims and/or requests for replacement parts
*Perform work orders to transition finished goods to UD or -R useable/sellable part numbers
*Assist in SBT – SIG Ballistic Turret (and other products) lasering process. Build SBT ballistic range cards and convert to SolidWorks design as needed.
*Support live fire testing upon completion of compliance requirements
*Enter warranty and order info into Oracle and/or Access databases. May include Discounted orders, Samples, or TNE orders
*Develop, maintain, and support working relationships with Quality Assurance, Marketing and Product Management, and Design Engineer personnel

Education and/or Experience:
*Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Technical / Customer Service or a Customer-Focused Sales environment and solid firearms knowledge or demonstrated aptitude. Knowledge of sports optics in particular is highly desired. High school diploma or equivalent; or prior military experience. College degree a plus.
*Working knowledge of hunting practices, shooting sports, ballistics, sports optics and rifle scope applications
*Familiar with binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, red-dot sights and rangefinders.
*In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
*Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
*Proficiency) with ERP customer service support software (Oracle preferred), SolidWorks Design and MS Office applications
*Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
*Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required for specific activities

Working Conditions:
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
