Job description

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Financial Reporting team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional administration services to our clients’ while interacting with Fund Accounting teams, auditors, printers, and other SEI personnel. As a Financial Reporting specialist, you will participate in the preparation of financial statements for various clients in accordance with the regulatory and /or client deliverables calendar. This position reports to the Confluence Team Lead/Manager.
What you will do:

  • You will develop a working knowledge of the Confluence platform and will have knowledge of Financial Reporting statement creation and timing. You will be develop a strong background in MS Word and Excel.
  • You will assist in maintaining and fixing current issues statement/holdings maps and snippets for the whole universe of funds on the platform and build new statements/holdings maps and snippets for the whole universe of funds on the platform as assigned to them by the Team Manager. You will also assist in building new publications from scratch leveraging all system capabilities in the proper manner.
  • You will be develop a working knowledge of the entire Platform and Infrastructure and be able to assist in resolving issues when they arise.
  • You will be develop the ability correctly scrub data and support the Financial Reporting team with all data needs. You will also work with accounting as the need arises to implement new data initiatives.
  • You will participate in projects and initiatives as assigned by the Team Lead. Attendance at various Confluence meetings and events may be required as determined by the Team Manager and Financial Reporting Director overseeing Confluence.

What we need from you:
  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mutual fund or alternative investment funds industry.
  • 1+ years working with Confluence Unity Platform preferred.
  • Experience with financial statement preparation preferred.
  • Strong accounting and Financial Reporting skills are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • The self-motivation and drive to handle multiple client deliverables without sacrificing excellence or quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily communicate with your clients and other contacts through email and/or phone calls.
  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with internal and external clients.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position is $67,000/yr - $105,000/yr
