RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Assist in deployment of customer features
  • Assist in troubleshooting and developing technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers.
  • Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources.
  • Participate in the activities of product teams.
  • Assist in installation, configuring and maintaining networks in a Unix or Unix-like environment.
  • Review, plan and evaluate network systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize important tasks independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Requires a Bachelors degree and someone who has recently graduated or who has a few years of experience, preferably in Technical/Customer Support or IP Routing and switching technology or IP Telephony protocols.
  • Fluent in English is required.
  • Knowledge of IP routing and switching technology, configuration and administration.
  • Working experience with IP telephony protocols.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures for network administration.
  • Experience with common Microsoft Office programs and tools.
  • Familiarity with Unix, C, C++, Java, and VXML preferred.
