RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist in deployment of customer features
- Assist in troubleshooting and developing technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers.
- Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources.
- Participate in the activities of product teams.
- Assist in installation, configuring and maintaining networks in a Unix or Unix-like environment.
- Review, plan and evaluate network systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to identify and prioritize important tasks independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Requires a Bachelors degree and someone who has recently graduated or who has a few years of experience, preferably in Technical/Customer Support or IP Routing and switching technology or IP Telephony protocols.
- Fluent in English is required.
- Knowledge of IP routing and switching technology, configuration and administration.
- Working experience with IP telephony protocols.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures for network administration.
- Experience with common Microsoft Office programs and tools.
- Familiarity with Unix, C, C++, Java, and VXML preferred.
