Litigation Attorney

A Estate Planning Attorney, a community-focused, St. Petersburg law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to immediately join our legal team. We believe in developing leaders and foster a collaborative environment where experience and careers can grow and thrive.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and problem solving. This role offers remote work flexibility with near daily Zoom meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the legal team. During these near daily Zoom meetings the legal team roundtables cases, to ensure that the best legal strategies are developed and effectively executed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in primarily civil litigation proceedings, including court appearances, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Effectively problem solve.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement case strategies.
• Provide advice and counsel to senior attorneys on case development and strategy.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to expand expertise in multiple practice areas.
• Participate in near daily Zoom meetings to discuss case progress and strategy.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's clientele.
• Actively engage with the community in alignment with the firm's mission statement, which includes service on various boards and organizations and membership in various organizations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Passion and desire to make argument in court, develop negotiation skills, and ability to problem solve and make decisions.
• Excellent strategic thinking ability.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Passion for community engagement and building relationships.
