Salesforce Inc. seeks Technical Support Engineer in Hillsboro, OR:
Job Duties: Assist third-party developers to troubleshoot their integration with salesforce.com APIs, Apex, Visualforce, and implementation of other Salesforce developer products. Write sample code, client libraries, and supply to Open-Source projects. Build knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency while also empowering and enabling the developer community. Resolve and debug technical issues and skill-fully lead sophisticated service tickets. Manage customers' expectations and deliver high quality customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned areas of product functionality and utilize that expertise optimally to help customers. Assist with the design and delivery of products and other technical training. Review support cases for technical and troubleshooting accuracy. Define and describe technical best practices. Identify product and services up-sell opportunities and describe Salesforce solutions in eloquent, accurate, and persuasive terms. Complete assigned project responsibilities. Meet the monthly goals on KPIs such as CSAT and Productivity. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Tableau; (2) HTML; (3) Hadoop; (4) Spark; (5) SDLC; (6) SQL; (7) Data Analysis; (8) Data Structures and Algorithms; (9) Python; (10) R; (11) MySQL; and (12) Hive. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.Experience with special skills can be gained through academic coursework or professional experience. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
