What you'll do:
The Technical Supervisor is the leader of the team that is responsible for executing inspection reporting and creating an effective inspection strategy. They oversee and coordinate the work and activities of their team members to ensure that all job duties are executed to Client expectations in a timely manner. The Inspection Supervisor inspects the team's work to ensure each aspect of the project is done according to the technical and program guidelines. This may include the creation, planning, process monitoring, and evaluation of labor and materials. This individual is crucial in maintaining client relationships by ensuring technical program requirements are being met by SQA’s Associates in the field.
What you'll need:
•Inspection Supervisors possess a minimum of 10 years of Quality Assurance and inspection experience within the Aerospace or Automotive industries.
•Ability to independently validate established criteria without additional guidance or oversight.
•They typically have a degree in a technical discipline and extensive technical training and certification.
Possess industry and commodity experience, dimensional inspection, experience with precision tolerance parts, knowledge, and hands-on experience with all inspection tools, including the ability to understand and interpret complex GD&T requirements and validate complex commodity-specific assemblies.
•Hands-on inspection experience with a variety of industry-specific commodities including, but not limited to, precision mechanical parts, composites, electro-mechanical, and electronics.
•Experienced working within a third party contract environment with Client, Inspector, and Supplier Stakeholders.
•Inspection team management experience.
•Hands-on industry expertise with First Article Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspection requirements and procedures.
•Knowledge of industry inspection requirements, including:
•AS 9100 Rev D
•ISO 9000/9001 and 13485
•IPC 600 series
•J-STD-001 Space Addendum
•Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
•Outstanding leadership and organizational skills, proven stakeholder management skills.
•Proven experience managing a team.
•Proven negotiation and de-escalation skills.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Excellent problem-solving ability.
•Computer literacy and competency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
