Job Description:
Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for full-time Technical Specialists for Admissions & Enrollment Services.
The Technical Specialist for Admissions assists in the execution of all phases of student recruitment which include communicating and engaging with prospective students, managing applications through the admissions process to the point of registration, coordinating Student Ambassador Participation with recruitment events both on and off-campus, and leading participants in recruitment activities. This position involves a non-traditional work schedule including evening and weekend work assignments.
The Technical Specialist for Enrollment Services serves as the first and primary point-of-contact for all prospective, current, and new students, as well as any visitors to the college and as an expert in the delivery of enrollment services, providing comprehensive information and guidance in Admissions, Student Records, Financial Services, new student Academic Advising, and Registration.
Professional staff are expected to advance the College's focus on student success and completion and will work closely with the College's leadership to advance the mission of the Strategic Plan 2020-2025 which may be reviewed by clicking on the link below.
Requirements:
Required: Associate's degree in a related field.
Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Advertised Pay: $39,989-$45,987/yr. for well-qualified individuals. Salary is determined based upon experience and education in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement as well as internal equity.
