Technical Services Specialist
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
TYPE CONTRACT:Temp
Salary: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Services - Office (DocuCare) Level 2 professional to join our team. As an essential member of our Technical Services team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional equipment support and service to our valued customers. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service.
- Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes and provide ongoing end-user training on equipment usage.
- Services Delivery:
- Perform basic device cleaning and replacement of operator-accessible parts and consumables per equipment specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve basic equipment problems and escalate issues as required.
- Manage on-site operator replaceable parts inventory and perform data entry for activity and asset tracking.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide IP address support and perform printer mapping to PC as required.
- Monitor and apply current software updates/patches and manage consumables and supplies inventory.
- Utilize our client's web-based applications for service call handling and accurate call reporting.
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic technical skills, including Microsoft applications.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Problem-solving skills for diagnosing customer and equipment printing issues.
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience resolving customer and equipment printing issues.
