Ready to be an important part of our Spare Parts Sales Team? 

The role of the Technical Sales Specialist includes delivering technical support to the sales department, interpreting customer requirements into technical concepts, coordinating technical inquiries, assisting regular customers, managing the processing of customer inquiries, documenting customer requirements, overseeing bids, contributing to the co-design of product portfolios, conducting analysis of the market and competition, and actively participating in the creation of master price lists and technical advertisements. 

Are You Looking to:   

• Prepare, administer, and technically process bids as part of bid management? 

• Collaborate with technology/engineering for co-design and further development of the product portfolio? 

• Conduct and document market and competition analysis, including the assessment of technical solutions, retrofits, market trends, and competitive situations? 

• Contribute to the creation of master price lists and technical advertisements? 

• Assist the sales department in maintaining relationships with regular customers through regular contact, visits, and managing customer price lists? 

Are You Ready to: 

• Document customer requirements for reference. 

• Provide technical support to the sales department, translating customer requirements into technical concepts and solutions in collaboration with internal departments. 

• Coordinate technical customer inquiries with internal departments. 

• Support the active sale of spare parts by assisting the sales team. 

• Process customer inquiries, including orders, in collaboration with other specialist departments. 

What You’ll Need: 

• High School Diploma or GED. An Associate’s degree or technical program of study is a bonus, but not required. 

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, customer databases, and an ERP system 

• Motivation and a team player attitude, willing to work flexible hours as needed. 

• Thrives in a fast-moving environment. 

• Strong people skills – a polite and professional demeanor when working with other companies, as well as consumers and coworkers. 

• Minimum of 2 of years of professional experience in technical positions, preferably with a manufacturer or supplier of wind turbines 

• Valid Driver's License  

• Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening and be approved to climb wind turbines as needed. To help ensure their safety, any employees climbing a wind turbine must use a Personal Fall Arrest System, and may not exceed the system’s maximum weight capacity of 309 lbs. This weight must include the individual, their tooling, uniform, and personal protective equipment. Based on these safety requirements and the standard weight of equipment, employees who climb wind turbines may not exceed a maximum personal body weight of 260 lbs.
