Summary of Essential Functions
- The Technical Marketing Specialist understands complex technical products, services, and applications, and translates their value into compelling and easily understood marketing messages. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective marketing strategies that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related field.
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience in a Technical Marketing role with social media exposure.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail in developing marketing content.
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and social media marketing strategies.
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on lead generation, marketing automation, website management, and content production
- Consumer-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Primarily works the day shift; additional hours may be asked to work as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop clear and engaging marketing content across various platforms, including product collateral, videos, webinars, images, graphics, and posts
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the organization’s objectives. Plan content, posting schedules and campaign timelines to maintain a consistent online presence.
- Message Development: Craft messaging frameworks that effectively communicate United Regional’s unique value proposition of services tailored to various audiences. Translate technical jargon into accessible language for different audience types.
- Product Launch Support: Collaborate with product teams to plan and execute successful product launches. Develop go-to strategies, create launch materials, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of digital tools, staying updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights for marketing strategies.
- Audience Segmentation: Analyze the target audience to segment and identify key personas.
- Measurement and optimization – Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve future campaigns. Provide regular reports on key metrics, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Manage and optimize websites and all marketing technology platforms to ensure a seamless user experience and alignment with marketing objectives. Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and organic traffic. Monitor website analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and track key performance indicators
- The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage our marketing automation platform, coordinate email campaigns, develop and direct webinars, update our web content, and work with stakeholders to best develop our marketing technology platforms as well as provide recommendations to social media efforts in order to effectively represent the marketing campaigns. Use marketing automation tools to create targeted and personalized campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
