Getty Images is hiring a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Seattle! The Technical Recruiter is responsible for working closely with our Technology and Product functions to strategically approach and execute hiring needs, ensuring that top talent gravitates towards and is well-positioned within Getty Images. As a trusted partner, you have proven success in collaborating with tech leaders and hiring managers and a broad scope of recruiting experience across a variety of technical roles and for all levels of an organization – full-stack, front and back-end Engineering, Search, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, UI/UX, and Product. You excel at attracting and hiring top technical talent and have strong industry knowledge and understanding of current and emerging trends and technologies. You are well-connected in the tech industry and bring with you an already established pipeline of potential candidates, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with passive candidates through networking and outreach.
Your Next Challenge:
- Responsible for serving as the primary recruiter for our Technology and Product functions, focusing on hiring across multiple locations including Seattle, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, New York, and Madison, and for other global technical roles.
- Enhance tech recruiting and contribute to shaping our strategy, which includes understanding our Technology function goals and leadership’s vision and maintaining a steady headcount of approximately 350 tech employees while prioritizing hard-to-fill, critical roles.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to thoroughly grasp role and skill requirements, team dynamics, technical specifications, and company culture. Apply this insight and data to develop informed hiring plans and make strategic candidate decisions.
- Establish a robust and comprehensive tech recruiting knowledge base by crafting and maintaining effective strategies, processes, documentation, and data.
- Proactively and resourcefully engage with candidates through various channels, using impactful methods to generate interest and actively facilitate initial connections.
- Develop and maintain pipelines of passive candidates to address current and future hiring needs.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact to offer and negotiation. Meticulously track candidate data and interactions in our ATS.
- Foster strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers by being highly responsive, communicating clearly, listening to their needs, prioritizing tasks, providing regular updates, and transparently explaining hiring practices and procedures to enhance effectiveness.
- Conduct technical interviews and assessments with hiring teams to evaluate candidates' skills, expertise, and alignment with our principles-based culture. Act as a positive ambassador for Getty Images within the tech community, enhancing our employer brand to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with agencies when necessary to secure both contractors and full-time employees, emphasizing speed and improving cost efficiencies.
- Engage and present diverse slates of candidates for each role and maintain relationships and partnerships with diverse associations and platforms to further our goals of rejecting bias and discrimination and being inclusive of difference voices, perspectives, and experiences.
- Maintain a hybrid in-office/remote capacity, spending minimally 2-3 days per week in the Seattle office to foster strong connections with tech staff and leadership.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience sourcing and recruiting top technical talent with ideally 4 or more years of direct technical recruiting experience.
- Ability to build strong and trusted partnerships with tech leaders and hiring managers, providing recruiting expertise and thoughtful consultation.
- Regarded as a team player who maintains strong connections with recruiting peers, collaborates well with HR partners, and engages with accountability.
- Ability to use data to present current and future recruiting strategies, demonstrating where we have candidate success and where we need to shift and consider other avenues to success.
- Able to balance all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing candidates through to offer.
- Experience working with recruitment software and reporting, with technical precision and solid attention to detail. Manages candidate data and recruitment activities in an ATS with diligence, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data completeness. Adheres to data management protocols to support informed decision-making and compliance.
- Has a growth mindset and positive outlook, determination, and resilience.
- Effective communicator in both writing and speech. Able to produce detailed plans, processes, and documents, with openness to iteration and improvement. Highly responsive to team members and candidates. Strong presentation and influencing skills, specifically with senior leadership.
- Experience with external branding activities, with a savvy approach to social media engagement, networking events, and talent community building. Positively represents the business with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Excellent prioritization, time management, and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and pivot and adapt to address emerging needs.
- Experience working across regions and time zones with flexibility to expand working hours to better reach candidates and colleagues.
