Calspan continues to be fundamental in developing comprehensive hypersonic systems to improve the hypersonic test infrastructure in the United States. Our team builds turn-key test facility systems that includes all tasks related to analysis, design, construction, commissioning, and operations. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter with a creative approach to meeting our recruitment needs due to continued growth.
This individual will lead our search efforts as we expand our technical talent base across multiple engineering disciplines. - Identify and implement an innovative strategy to include sourcing, screening, and identifying qualified applicants with a focus on engineering and technical positions.
- Leverage sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate databases, professional organizations, and community associations.
- Utilize passive and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract candidates.
- Pro-actively and continually, source, develop and maintain a viable pipeline and network of qualified talent for current and future openings.
- Use a variety of sourcing methods, business intelligence, and market data to provide ongoing sourcing support.
Preferred Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- 5+ years of corporate recruitment experience, engineering industry preferred; or
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Preferred Knowledge & Ability:
- Advanced-level knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, applicant tracking software, social media and external database searches.
- Strong working knowledge of technical candidate sourcing.
- Exhibits competence in penetrating new markets and sources to target potential candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of sourcing process and successfully manage a high volume workload.
- Prior experience in a high-volume setting that requires a sense of urgency, ability to manage competing demands, and maintain adaptability and flexibility.
