The Role
We're looking for a Contract Recruiter (3-month contract with the potential to extend) who will play a pivotal role in our growth helping scale our Engineering and Product teams in our NYC office. You'll be responsible for full cycle recruitment – from sourcing and identifying qualified candidates to interviewing and closing, all while ensuring a smooth and candidate-first process throughout.
We are a recruiting team of 3, looking for a recruiter to join us onsite 3-4x week in our NYC office. You will embed yourself in the NYC tech market and help build out various teams.
What You'll Do
- You will be responsible for owning the full recruitment life-cycle across our engineering department
- Screen candidates to ensure their qualifications match the open roles
- Sourcing. We know there's great talent out there that just needs to know about the work we're doing over here. You'll build creative strategies around sourcing to reach out to and engage the best talent proactively
- Report what is and isn't working. Provide insight and feedback to the hiring team on what you're hearing from the market and how we can remain competitive
- Maintain and nurture your pipeline of leads and identify future opportunities that align with their experiences and interests
Who You Are
- 2+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within Java and Python
- Hiring within AI/ML is a plus
- Proven success. You have a track record of identifying, engaging and closing technical talent for high growth companies
- You have a drive and sense of urgency in how you manage your day-to-day activities and pipelines
- Resourceful. You research, ask questions and figure it out
- Leverage Greenhouse to track candidate progress through funnel, resurface existing talent, and keep consistently clean data for reporting
- Ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience - regardless of outcome
- Compensation Range: $50 - $60 per hour

- This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
