Job description
Candidate will work with Technical Publications Section to collect draft technical/scientific documentation from engineers, test personnel; convert draft documents to standard test plan and report templates; edit for spelling, clarity of grammar, format, and consistency; participate in report integrated product meetings. Position requires flexibility in work assignment and ability to adapt to change. Position requires ability to work under tight deadlines to produce quality reports. Position requires ability to efficiently perform quality checks of technical documents for peers, customers, and before final publication. Critical tasks include editing classified and unclassified technical reports. Knowledge of 412th Test Wing technical report process and operating instructions a plus. Must be able to answer technical report process questions to guide authors in the development of technical reports. Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite required.
